Good Points: A great thing overall

Bad Points: Slightly heavy then ordinary hoovers.

General comments: Fantastic hoover! After years going through cheaper models (not dysons) finally made myself buy Dyson DC14 all floors. Sucks everything up! Absolutely love it! Finally a house REALLY feels clean!

I bought one of the first Dysons (DC1) and had it for many years and gave it quite a hammering. I dog, 2 cats and a variety of mucky children – no time to count them! I replaced only 2 bits;
The buffer band and the wand hose, but it always gave excellent suction.
It used to bring up the carpet like a stripe in a corn field.
Then husband presents me with a DC14 (Diamonds would have been better dear!!!) and I hate the thing.
