Review Dyson DC28 Animal Airmuscle

DC28 Review
The DC28 is the ideal Dyson for people more problematic carpeting and different floor surfaces. The DC28 accomplishes this with the new Airmuscle technology which allows for exceptional carpet cleaning.
Like most of the Dyson Vacuums the DC28 has a convenient on/off switch for your brushbar. When you transition from carpeting to a hard floor surface turn the brushbar off for better hard surface cleaning and to protect any surfaces that can scratch. The DC28 is the first Dyson vacuum that allows you to adjust the vacuum to different carpet heights.

In addition the DC28 has the new quick release wand which is even easier to use than the telescopic wand found on the DC14 and DC15. Now you just grab the wand and pull it up to release it and it is ready to use.
Like the other Dyson uprights the DC28 has a clear bin, no extra costs, no bags to buy, no loss of suction and has a five year warranty.
Our recommendation:
The DC28 is ideal for people with thick carpeting, people with multiple floor types or people with pet hair issues.
About Dyson Airmuscle Technology
The Dyson DC28 Animal combines a powered cam, a pneumatic actuator, and a high-torque clutch. Each component adjusts automatically and precisely for the best performance on the surface being cleaned. There’s no gap between the cleaning head and the floor, so the maximum cleaning suction is always applied.

- Pneumatic actuator: Pulls the cleaner head deeper into the carpet, opening the pile to dislodge dirt and pet hair.
- Powered cam: Lifts the brush bar up for hard floors, focusing suction.
- High-torque clutch: More power to the brush bar, enabling the stiff bristles to open carpet pile and dislodge dirt.
